Coverings Show 2008

Still one more day to see all the great displays at the Coverings Show at the Orlando Convention Center in Orlando Florida. Show ends May 2.

Traffic seemed fairly light which was nice for the people attending, not so great for the people who had booths there.

The displays were excellent, as always. Large and small equipment and tools, tile, granite, specialty stone are only a few of the displays. The exhibitors were knowledgable and friendly without being overbearing in any way and the atmosphere was one of fun and the sharing of information.

Booth addresses were a little difficult to find, rather illogical in their numbering system. After unsuccessfully asking a trolly driver the location of a booth, one of the attendees said it was impossible to find. We asked the Convention Center Staff and after a 10 minute consultation with three employees and a computer, they finally were able to locate the vendor we were looking for.

Aside from that, it was a great day. We learned a lot and made a lot of good contacts. I would highly recommend a visit, but be sure to go soon, the show ends tomorrow!
